Due to popular demand of concert tickets we have decided to book a venue for the event. instead of coming to Toybox for the concert come along to Zest community center (across from the library). There are still a few tickets left for sale. Can we ask that you come for 2pm as the concert will start at 2.15 prompt.

Welcome to the Autumn term news letter

Firstly welcome to all the new children who have started over the last few months, there has been quite a few, we hope that you have all settled into Toybox, really well and we are very happy to have you here.

What’s happening this term?

This term we will be celebrating Christmas throughout the December we will be celebrating all things Christmas. Children will be making cards, learning Christmas songs, and doing lots and lots of creative activities. The Christmas party will be on the Thursday 14th December. We will also be holding our ever first Christmas Concert where parents can come to watch all the children perform Christmas songs for the first time. We will be sending an invite out soon with more info.

Parents Evening

Baby room parents evening: Tuesday 16th January from 6.10pm Toddlers and Preschool parents evening: Wednesday 17th January from 6.10pm Please book a space on the time table with your child’s key worker. Although we appreciate that everyone would like to attend parents evening, please note that we cannot accommodate children. If you cannot attend your appointment please let your child’s key worker know so someone else can have the space.

Announcements

Please keep your apples for the praise trees coming in we have had some lovely ones so far, all apples go in children’s files and help build up the picture of how your children are learning and developing. Please ensure that children wear appropriate clothing for the cold weather, hats, and scarf’s, and gloves are welcome.

Parent Desk

Please find Lending Library located on the parent desk, this is set up for children and parents to choose books to take home and lend for a week, for the children we have Phonic books, story books appropriate for all ages. We also have information books for parents that they may find helpful and useful tips at home. Please ask a member of staff if you would like to lend one of our books.

Non Funded, Closures this Term

Non Funded-Monday 18th December 2017- Monday 8th January 2017 (3weeks) Nursery will be closed from the Monday 25th December- Tuesday 2nd January 2017

Hot Lunches

Please note there will be NO hot lunches during the non funded Weeks.
