Welcome back after the half term break we hope you’ve had a lovely Easter holiday and eaten plenty of chocolate.

We would like to start by welcoming all new children to Toybox, the Mini Explorers would like to welcome, Newal and Ewan. Preschool would like to welcome Alice M, Fadil and Nataneil. We hope you have all settled and are glad to have you as part of Toybox Nursery.

Moving up from Mini Explorers to preschool this half term are Violet, Rita and Isaac P we hope you settle well and enjoy!

Summer term is upon us and there is due to be some warm weather on the way, may we kindly ask that you provide your child with sun cream, a hat and any other necessities they may need to keep them protected from the sun rays. 

We are planting flowers, fruit and vegetables in the garden over this term, if you have green fingers or any ideas and would like to help, speak to one of the staff members and we can arrange some time for you to come and have a planting session with the children.

Children who order hot school meals, we would like to remind you that payment is need on the day you order and we ask that you only make cash payments. 

Non Funded Weeks over the half term are: Monday 26th May – Monday 2nd June (1 week) 

Nursery is closed Bank holiday Monday 5th May and Monday 26th May.

Welcome to the second newsletter of the term, we hope you have all had a fun filled half term break. 

We would like to start by welcoming all new children to Toybox, the Baby Unit would like to welcome Ivy, Damon, Agnes, Sophie and Alice B. Welcoming to the Preschool, Poppy C, Mylo and Xavier. 

This half term we will be celebrating Mothers Day and Easter children will be making chocolate Easter nest, eating pancakes, decorating eggs, making candles, cards and bonnets. On the Wednesday 16th April @ 10.30-11.30 we will be holding an Easter Bonnet Parade, Put on your creative heads and make your Easter bonnets at home with your children and bring them in on the day prizes will be given to the best made bonnets, all children and parents are welcome to attend, children must be supervised if it isn’t there day to attend. 

On the Friday 21st March we are supporting Sports Relief by holding a Jumping in Woolly Jumpers Contest. We understand that little donations mean a lot to the cause so if you would like to help please fill in the sponsor forms and return by Monday the 7th April, All proceeds go to the charity. 

Over the next few weeks you may find suggestion forms in your children’s bags, we are always happy to take on board any ideas parents and carers have for the nursery please feel free to fill them in and return to the suggestions box in the entrance of the nursery.
